Our Purpose
The Appalachian Beekeepers Club, located in the Mountain Region in western North Carolina, is glad you are here. We exist to help promote healthy bee populations and best practices for our Cherokee County bee colonies.
Membership is open to anyone — anyone that loves bees! There is a range of expertise within our club including brand new “maybe someday” beekeepers all the way to Master Beekeeper Level. Most club members have been keeping bees for over 5 years; some over 15, so there is a lot of wisdom and knowledge to be passed around at every meeting. No matter what your level of interest, you will feel at home.
